"Absolutely lovely. Felt like I was staying with family. Quick walk to the gorgeous beach, next to a beautiful shrine, and a short walk from a delicious Ramen place. Not to mention the Onsen!!! What a magical experience it was to enjoy the outdoors and soak. And last but not least the breakfast! Felt like my mom made me lunch for the day. Absolutely would recommend to anyone staying in the area."

"We stayed for one night at this hotel - it was fantastic. One of the best features is that it is up in the hills close to the chairlift site up to the volcanic cone. It is also far away from the very touristy coastal region and nestling in some very expensive privately owned homes, which were very pleasant to drive around. There is nobody staffing the hotel but checking in was a breeze as they communicated very clearly with us by messaging. We turned up and our room was open with the key inside....

"If you want a really roomy experience , stay in the 2-storey maisonette room which is like a big apartment. It’s amazing! So much space and privacy and direct access to the pool and beach from your balcony. The hotel is lovely, breakfast was excellent and the beach is beautiful. Staff spoke a variety of languages which was very helpful. This location is also good for visiting Amagiso outdoor waterfall onsen."

"We loved our authentic Japanese vacation stay. Fireworks were a surprise we had not expected. Buffet had a large variety of choices although I am allergic to shrimp and do t like seafood so it limited me. I was still able to find enough to eat each day. Onsen was a new experience for us being Canadian but now we love it and will miss this relaxing ritual."
