"Room is clean and quiet. restaurant next door. Grocery store not far away. We enjoyed the two nights at this place."

"Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money...

There is a portable heater provided to make the room warm(er), which seemed odd for a motel/hotel to have."

"This is a wonderful modern hotel. It is possibly the nicest hotel in the Sutter Creek area. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are excellent. The beds are extremely comfortable. I really liked the modern shower. Their staff is polite and very helpful. A large television is in the room with a large selection of cable channels. "I think it’s a great quaint motel right before you hit the busy zones of Tahoe and right outside Tahoe Valley campground. The property is family owned and very well maintained. The room is clean and nice and has all the basics you need. I really loved the lighted bathroom mirrors. Parking was plenty plus easy to park a truck.
