"My family of 5 arrived at the hotel early. We were able to keep our luggage and backpacks with the hotel I was told that the hotel just recently opened. "

"It’s a converted EconoLodge. Rooms are clean and has been renovated with wood floors (none of that yucky carpet on typical motels) and new-ish bathrooms. Stayed for 6 nights for a baseball tournament. Loved the continental breakfast every morning with make-your-own waffles, auto pancake maker, sausages and eggs. Great way to start the morning. Even has on-site laundry machine/dryer. Area has everything you need - grocery store (Kroger/QFS and Safeway), Walgreens, Super WalMart and a Costco. Plus a lot of restaurant choices near by. I would definitely stay at Ocean Star again if I am in the area. "

"Absolutely gorgeous views and access to the beach. The space could use a bit of updating but was nice, and you can't beat the location. "

"Property was very clean. Staff were friendly and helped us enjoy the stay. The only negative was something the motel has no control over. There seem to be quite a few “Ladies of the night” walking up and down the street. The security gate etc seems to keep them out of the property. "

"We've stayed here multiple times as it's close enough to Clearwater Casino (and definitely cheaper than staying at the resort) and close to historic Poulsbo. Staff has always been wonderful, rooms are clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again! "

"Red Lion Inn was clean and comfortable. The setting, right on the water was great and the on-site restaurant was convenient, reasonably priced and gave good value. "

"Flight was late so we arrived very late, 3am. They had a number to call if you arrived late and they came out and helped us check in. Room is older but very clean. Sheets were a little on the work side, but bed was super comfy and pillows while also not the most appealing looking were more than satisfactory. Bathroom was fine. Shower looked like it had a facelift recently and performed very well. Nice water pressure. Great tempature control and the best part, the towels. Oh my, you never get towels this soft at a bargain stay. Overall, while the layout was all 80’s with some upgrades in the right places, and it didn’t all match up, it was cozy, clean and those towels, were worth it. If all rooms have those towels, kudos for putting some money in the right spot. By the way, don’t think about taking those towels or anything else. There is a warning in the room about doing this and how much you will be charged. Cash customers can expect a hefty deposit. They run a nice place and while it may be dated it’s worth a stay for sure. Thank you and sorry for the late arrival. "
