"The front desk was super nice both for check in and check out, i mean seriously so nice. Rooms were clean, hotel smelt clean, breakfest was good, I really can’t complain about anything here. Will be staying here again next year."

"It was a clean room, staff was nice and she recommended a restaurant called champs fried chicken and it was very good. I would stay there again "

"Pool and lobby were under remodelation but the employee was accommodating and provided the continental breakfast even tho the breakfast area was closed. The rooms were remodeled a couple of months ago. We were able to relax and had a good night. "

"You get what you pay for. I like the fact that this hotel was right off the exit and plenty of places to eat. The downfall was the hole in the wall and bathroom door. But other that for a one or two night stay its not bad."

"The quaintness and character of this place is so charming, and their breakfast of shakshuka was outstanding! Would love to stay again!"

"I had to go to the front desk twice upon checking in do to key not working. I never got an apology for the inconvenience and when I asked if this would happen everytime we tried to enter and she just shrugged her shoulders. They advertised continental breakfast, but we were told the kitchen closed. "

"I was In the old part of the hotel and did not care for it nearly as much as the newer part. It seemed darker and no bathrobes or bathroom incidentals (cotton balls, qtips, etc.). Staff was still great and I love The Read House just not the older wing of rooms."

"Resevered parking just steps away from the room. 15 minutes or less from the aquarium, ruby falls, rock city gardens and much more. The bed was super comfy and the staff was very attentive! Great location and price. Definitely would stay again!"

"I would suggest if you want a clean place to stay this is not it. We had no electricity due to rain I’m guessing.?? The bathtub had mold around it and mold in corner of living area with a dehumidifier hiding it. Spider webs , dirty, blinds broke, the beadboard was cracked all over the bathroom. Then they had totes of clean linens right outside rooms for them to change later I’m guessing that we almost tripped over carrying our luggage. The place needs an overhaul inside and out. "
