"The room was clean but there were roaches. My daughter's room even had them crawl on her bed. The great thing is the location. Parking is valet only at 65 a night. I don't think I'd stay here again. Also the room looked nothing like the pictures"

"Restaurant and café were also very good and a voucher towards the purchase was generous. The only thing was that the room was set to 65-68f and not changeable (thermostat control does not work). Even when I turned off the fan, I could feel cold air coming in. So it's perfect for people who like the room to be cool. But for me, it was VERY cold."

"I liked the location. If you want less tourists atmosphere this is a perfect location. There’s a beautiful beach close by. The mall is next to the hotel and a bus trolley you can ride the entire day for $6 by the mall if you want to go to Waikīkī. It’s a very nice hotel."

"The hotel was right in the middle of Waikiki which was fantastic! The view of the beach and Diamond Head couldn't have been better. Room was cleaned daily. Hotel a bit on the older side but didn't detract from vacation. Front desk staff could be a bit curt in response to questions, but otherwise a great stay."

The only downside was that the shared washrooms were occasionally messy, but that seemed to be more due to some guests not cleaning up after themselves rather than a lack of effort from the staff. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found it to be a good value for a solo trip to Waikīkī."

"We had an incredible stay at the Mailani Tower! The ocean view from the room was amazing. The drive up to the hotel is breathtaking and really makes you feel live you've arrived in a secret jungle. The RH is such a well-maintained and beautiful historic property. Close to busy areas of Waikiki, but as soon as you get to the hotel, it's so peaceful and lush. All hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks on property were amazing as were the spa services."

"The location is quite nice with walking distance to the Waikiki beach and prime shopping locations. A small food truck park was 2 mins walk from the hotel giving a nice sampler of the variety of local cuisines. The hotel's breakfast spread was pretty decent for a buffet. The staff was quite nice and helpful. One point to nitpick would be that they need all elevators working during peak rush hours which wasn't the case with us leading to long wait time. They should perhaps replace them with...
