Cockroaches greeted on the first day in kitchen area but seemed to disappear afterwards. Refrigerator needed defrosting. Crack between sink and fridge needed cleaning. "We had an incredible stay at the Mailani Tower! The ocean view from the room was amazing. The drive up to the hotel is breathtaking and really makes you feel live you've arrived in a secret jungle. The RH is such a well-maintained and beautiful historic property. Close to busy areas of Waikiki, but as soon as you get to the hotel, it's so peaceful and lush. All hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks on property were amazing as were the spa services."

"Understandably it is hard to manage all the property effectively each day. The workers did a nice job cleaning the outside areas and organizing them daily. But we did notice a lot of sand and debris making it throughout the property. Our room floor was a little dirty to begin the stay.
