"SanSal was in the perfect location close to Old Town Chania, the light house and nice restaurants. The Sea view area was worth the money with the breakfast being an additional bonus. The staff ate all wonderful and they will make you cappuccinos and eggs cooked how you would like them. The ham and cheese omelet was superb! Alexa at the front desk was a gem in providing us a detailed map of the perfect suggestions to do in Crete from hikes to exploring caves and beaches! We loved it here so much that throughout our travels of Crete that we stayed 3 nights. "

The staff was also very friendly and professional and super helpful. We also went to their spa services and it was so relaxing and beautiful. We had such a good time in chania in general but going back to the hotel to rest and relax was equally as great. Thank you. "

This is old but wonderful. If you are expecting something perfect and new do not stay here. If you’d like something authentic, close to everything in the Old Port and with a breathtaking view of the lighthouse and harbor, this is your place. Make sure you specify room with a balcony. "Beautiful room and welcome package of wine and slippers, calming relaxing location with spectacular view from restaurant. Self parking available as well as courtesy transfer into old town Chania. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Would definitely return to this hotel."

"Facilities are great, as is the service. The only (minor) downside is location is somewhat outside Chania. Taxi is €15 and is easily booked by the hotel. We would definitely go again."
