"Very nice home and property. Great value. Seems like an excellent location for visiting Aberdeen. Hosts were great. Parking was easy (and free). Only one minor issue. Our room was in the front of the house which is on a very busy street. So with our window open (it was unseasonably warm during our trip) there was quite a bit of traffic noise."

"I booked the room for my colleague, she said, "the hotel is dodgy, quite dirty and a hostel with interesting characters, smells of weed and generally no safety… the breakfast was really bad and I was the only one there… it seems like it’s not a hotel that is actually used for tourism/business." "The hotel is cheap and you get exactly what you pay for. Don't book if you are expecting room service and everything to be perfect. Some rooms have faulty lights. Some have glasses and some don't. It's not perfection but I defy you to show me better in Aberdeen for £29 - £34 a night! A few ideas for the hotel chain. Increase your price by £5 and scrap the annoying parking charge? Open up the bar for crying out loud! You will make more money and please more guests! Try to be a bit more consistent...

"The property is easy to find and beautiful from the start. There is plenty of parking on site. Check in was easy. Our room was spacious, bright, clean, and up to date with a large closet for luggage and coats/clothes. The bed was super comfortable with nice crisp clean linens and comfy pillows. Very clean bathroom with a very nice stand up shower. Staff were always friendly, personable, and more than helpful. Right after we checked in we ordered room service from the bar, which was brought up...

"We upgraded our room to a deluxe and the bedroom was huge, the bed was so comfortable. The room itself was clean and there was some nice features, it could do with a full length mirror . We didn't have breakfast as we thought £15pp was expensive when you can get it for less in town. We stayed on the 2nd floor and wish we had a top floor room the noise from other residents is deafening. Doors slamming and hearing other people's bathroom water running interrupted our sleep. Slow closing doors...

"Love this hotel which has also had a wee upgrade since being taken over by its new owners recently but still retains its warm welcome for visitors as well as being a popular venue for locals. Parents first stayed here in 1962 and it was always a favourite for family meals out or a drink in the bar. Had a lovely warm and comfortable room and fab breakfast! Bus stop into the centre is just outside or it’s a fine walk into town or to Rosemount (just allow for the uphill on the way back 😊) So glad...

"Great hotel, 10 mins walk from the airport terminal. Dinner was excellent and breakfast decent. And if you want a change foodwise there is Dyce Farm 5 mins walk away. Room was lovely as were the staff. What's not to like! Thankyou to all the staff!"

"Showing signs of wear and tear. Very poor parking facilities with very hefty charges! When someone parked next to me I could not get in the drivers door. A lot of exterior noise from 6.00am. I was maybe unlucky with situation of room. Bed was comfortable and breakfast adequate. Better options in Aberdeen."
