"The hotel is looking a bit tired and in need of an update.
The room was fine...no safe, furniture a bit tatty and some black mould around the bath/shower.
Only 1 dressing robe and slippers in the room, although booked as a couple.
Room service was a bit random. The sandwiche that arrived was not great, with a tired piece of lettuce, 2 small tomatoes and some tortilla chips.
Breakfast was again fine but nothing to write home about. The hot food had the air of being put out for the opening...

"I paid over £200 for one night here. The experience was very poor. I chose it because the hotel is centrally located and has a decent pool. "Rooms were quite big, the beds were comfy pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Quite disappointed that they only had one working elevator the first day then the second day both elevators were out of service, it’s not too bad if your room is on the first few floors but ours were on floor 9 so carrying your stuff up and down those stairs were horrible. Our second room had a blocked sink so my mates staying in that room had to use my room for washing their hands etc. Monday morning early hours today...

"The hotel is conveniently located close to everything. The train station was less than 10 mins walk. There's a Tesco express and a Sainsbury's right outside the hotel. The room was clean and spacious enough to fit a queen bed, double sofa bed and a cot. We had a comfortable sleep. We used the pool once, there was a steam room as well.
