"Check in was easy. I had filled in the registration form prior to our visit. They had taken not of my comment on the form and had given us a room with easy access, no stairs to worry about. Our room was very clean when we arrived, had a nice smell to it when we opened the door. On discovering the duvet contained feathers, my daughter asked if it was possible to have a duvet without feathers, a replacement was brought up to our room within an hour. "The room was fine, great bathroom. All the staff were friendly and polite. When I reached Damon's, the reception member of staff quickly realised I was physically disabled and immediately changed my room for a ground floor room to make things easier for me. I only used the restaurant for breakfast, which offered a really good menu with reasonable prices.I was sorry not to have the time to visit the resaurant for an evening meal. "Booked a one night stay as meeting up with a group of friends for a night out in Newark. My (standard) room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The bar/dining area was very cosy with local beers (Pheasantry) on draught. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay and the breakfast was superb. Excellent value for money - highly recommended!"

"Tolles, modernes und sauberes Hotel, mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants direkt vor der Tür. Ok, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugsziele befinden sich nicht in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Man muss mobil sein, wenn man diese Unterkunft wählt. Aber das Hotel als solches ist hervorragend. Nettes Personal, tolles Frühstück. Gern wieder!"

"Rooms were very warm and a little dated.. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was ok. Do check the time of breakfast on arrival, as we have stayed here before and breakfast time was changed , so no breakfast was eaten. Small English breakfast was offered and consisted of a sausage, a rashers of bacon, fried egg hash brown and beans. There was also bread / toast and cereal available. "
