"This castle was absolutely lovely. The staff were amazingly friendly and the rooms were very nice and welcoming. We walked the grounds and saw some nice views. I highly recommend the castle dining room. The food was amazing!"

"Gorgeous castle close to Edinburgh! So far the main areas are renovated and they are stunning. The aesthetic blends castle feel (gold mirrors, beautiful wooden buttresses, textured wallpaper) with fabulous modern touches (lighting and tiling). We stayed in suite 27 and it had luxurious touches throughout (copper bathtub, double headed shower, new tiling, beautiful new bed) mixed with remnants of the castle feel (tapestry headboard and ancient well (secured) . "Room was immaculate, Staff very helpful and always available. Breakfast was amazing with good quality products and presentation. The bar is small but fits well into the environment. Bar staff willing to provide requests such as cocktails not on the bar list. 😁"

"The best stay of our whole trip! Very clean, extremely comfortable, a lovely tea and coffee basket. Breakfast was better than going to a restaurant- fresh and hot, many choices and we were served in our room in total comfort. Alice most accommodating, very sweet and full of local information. "Hotel is very well located and lovely in many ways. It was let down by the very hot bedrooms (air con don’t seem to work) and the quality of the food. Asked for a rare steak and was very much medium/well done. Burnt black pudding at breakfast. Maybe chef has having an off couple of days. "

"We had a lovely 1 night stay at Ten Hill. Walkable distance to sights, private culdesac and quiet neighbourhood. Bethan made our stay more special providing us with a treat of a view! Very clean and sustainable."

"Perfect location. Just 1/2 a block from the Royal Mile. Gorgeous historic building. Having a cozy apartment that is centrally located was great. The apartment was wonderful and exactly what we hoped for. Highly recommend! "
