"We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. Shown to our room, which was very nice and cosy. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a drink to go with it. "I needed somewhere that was able to do late check-ins, as I had a long drive late at night to get there - this hotel appears to have round the clock reception, and it was no trouble arriving late at night (after 11pm) - hotel's own website claims 24/7 reception desk, which reassured me. Room was great except the window frame really needed replacing (old wooden frame with cracks and rots in several places, and a latch that was broken so window could not close firmly and leaked cold air from...

"The copper castle was an amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were amazing, children loved the animals and collecting egg's from the chickens in the morning. Owner's were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be coming back for another stay."
