A few minutes walk to the Glasshouse and located on the quayside with some great restaurants and bars nearby. Parking was easy with hotel reserved parking at the rear of the hotel. "This is a lovely little hotel in a perfect spot to visit Newcastle. The staff were all lovely and were keen to make my stay as good as possible. My room was on the 2nd floor and there is no lift (which I knew but still overpacked!) so perhaps don't take one big suitcase like I did! The hotel is well maintained but is not "modern". It has everything you could want except if you stay at the height of a heatwave, there is no AC (i was given a fan which suited me but just a note). The bedroom doors...

"This a brilliant hotel and could not fault it. The deluxe rooms were lovely and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was really good and the items were hot and the area was immaculate with staff clearing away all the time. The location was perfect, very central and I would have no hesitation in staying again at this wonderful hotel. It is definitely a 4 star standard so well done to Maldron hotels"
