"Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. "

This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes.
The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream)
Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed.
The hotel and attached restaurant is completely plant based. I somehow missed this fact when booking but I needn’t have worried.

"Lovely accommodating owners of the guest house. Nice room and bathroom. Area to sit downstairs and watch the TV, which was lovely. Surrounded by nice walks and a local pub. Breakfast was also nice. I cannot fault the place."
"This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. "Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely.
Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful.
Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."

"We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service.
Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort.
Otherwise - would highly recommend! "
"Host Debbie was very welcoming, the room was very clean and the bed linen very fresh. The room could do with a little TLC with a wonky toilet seat, shower door loose and the creeking floor boards that added character to the room. Hotel is located to easy access all Skipton amenities and surrounding area. I would recommend this hotel."
