"Helpful and flexible with uncertainty over bookings, and the accommodation was at least satisfactory in general... but there was drastically inadequate parking for a full hostel, and we were not given all the necessary info about how to gain access to the buildings ! ( a helpful resident who happened to be up late saved us from standing outside in the cold and dark. Make sure the person on the desk not only gives over the FULL keypad entry number...but also HOW to access the key pad in order...

"On arrival Monday 4.30pm, this is a really lovely property, clean & tidy, parking not a big issue, quiet street, but the property was freezing cold, heating thermostat set at OFF, boiler was on. Boiler water very low topped up nothing. Hottub cold was 29°. We went through welcome pack no owner details, no heating details, hottub details 3 pages of, do's & don't's, main detail for hottub was DONT TOUCH TEMP BUTTONS. "Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."

"We arrived quite late, having travelled up after a long week of hard work. Although we missed the opportunity to eat, we had a drink and retired to our room. Walked through a very pleasant looking outdoor seating with well landscaped gardens and ambient lighting, Even by the entrance to the block where our room was, there was a couple of chairs and we did have a sit for a while, as it was a very warm evening.
