"This review considers the amazingly low price we paid (£40), compared to other availability in the area. We requested (and booked) a family room, on arrival, we were given two double rooms opposite each other. Not a problem for our 1 night stay, but it could have been. "Lovely stay, we had the best time "

"Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities provided. The bar was well stocked and the food lovely, although a little pricey, especially the children’s meal! Breakfast was fab with a great choice and cooked to order so was piping hot on arrival. Went to Kielder winter wonderland so this was an ideal stay as only 10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend."

"A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. "

"This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent. "Would usually book a hotel as moving child to Newcastle Uni but due to home match and lots of other parents moving their kids in, hotels were thin on the ground! Picked the apartments and was pleasantly surprised. Ticked all the boxes and great to have a small kitchen. Had everything we needed. Only criticism would be a lack of bedside table/shelf and the sofa wasn’t the comfiest but it was all clean and functional. Will def recommend. "
