"The room was clean and comfortable. The only disadvantage is that it lacked a fridge. Once in a while we heard sirens in the area. The hotel is closed to a train / subway station, two stations away from Times Square."

"Great location, great staff, clean room, huge bed. Now for the bad. If you dont like city noise, select your room carefully. Windows definitely are not soundproof or even slightly noise reducing, street noise (sirens, horns, etc.) was prevalent all night, but hey, it is the city! Other issue is lack of elevators. Be prepared to wait! Overall though, excellent experience and great location just south of central park next to Columbus Circle and Carnegie Hall."

"Great location. Staff always ready to assist. Rooms are spacious and large. The rooms and general hotel need attention - maintenance is lacking, nicks and scuffs go unfixed and as a result end up becoming bigger issues. ALS rooms very basic. No cups, coffee, tea etc. no fridge in room although they said there is a fridge in each room."

"The staff were excellent. However, the property was very rundown, even though we were in a newly renovated room. A lot of excess charges and taxes, and the icing on the cake was being charged $5.00 per each piece of luggage stored. This is a very busy part of town, so be prepared to wear noise canceling headphones at night."

"We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Edison in NYC.The location adjacent to Times Square was efficient for shopping, and nice restaurants were nearby. The rooms were larger than standard, clean, and the bath with shower was comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful. Yes, we would stay there again!"
