"Great hotel opposite Kyoto Station so very handy. Room was spacious which is unusual in Japan. Had a laundry room which was only ¥600 to use although we had to hang up clothes in room as it didn't dry them completely.
Loads of good restaurants nearby in station (who would have thought) as well as combinis.
Several shopping malls close by as well.
Overall a good hotel and one I'd stay at again."

"Location is fantastic to access everything Kyoto has to offer. Right above the largest train station in Kyoto. Easy access to shopping, food and transportation. Modern looking hotel, very clean and well kept. Would be nice if there was a gym and pool."

"Room had a little bit smell when we entered but the smell disappeared after the air conditioner was on. There might be unseen flies and I got fly bites twice during our 3 nights stay; the carpet appears rather old, and we felt it was not even when walking on it. We had weak shower spray experience, the showerhead appears to have flower restrictor. Staff are friendly."
