"Our stay at The Durango Lodge was great. We were only there for one night so did not experience the pool or breakfast but they looked nice. My favorite thing about the Durango Lodge is the location, it is close to everything so we walked all over downtown and didn't need to drive anywhere. Also, the room we booked was so perfect! "First and foremost, the hostess was great. Very helpful. We slept good and Comfortably. Secondly, we had a very very bad check in. We arrived late and the office was closed. There's an ON CALL # that was posted on the front door for LATE checkins. I repeatedly called the # and left voicemails. No answer. My son an I spent our first paid night in the truck. I wasn't able to be checked in until the next morning."

"Property was well maintained and at the end of the road. Staff kept things clean and presented well. IF I had little kids the indoor pool and onsite drinks would have been nice but I didn’t really like facing into the idle pool area. The set up is odd with some rooms inward pool courtyard facing with glass doors (with shades?) and some outside facing. In my room the floor above was really squeaky, like trying to sleep during an animal balloon convention. Overall the location is ideal if...
