"The hotel location was perfect since it’s less than a 5 min walk from Kyoto’s main train station. The breakfast was wonderful with a perfect blend of traditional Japanese cuisine and American options. The milk bread is absolutely delicious! Our double room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the window faced extremely bright stairway lights that were on all night. "The hot springs spa was amazing and very useful. It had different options for you to soak in from very hot to not so hot. I loved the hot pool with the cold bar to rest your head on. It made the experience that much more exciting. Overall very good time there and will definitely come back."

"I booked this hotel because of positive reviews... Convenient location but that's about it. Firstly, housekeeping was very sloppy. I came back to a dusty room, items on the floor by the bedside table, no amenities refilled, or cleaned yukata (despite mine was taken away). I asked twice about luggage transfer and was told to bring my luggages down for assistance. I took them down the day before checkout. I was told I had to fill out a form, which is fine, although I wish I was made aware of...
