"We booked a triple room so were surprised to get to our room and discover only 2 single beds for three adults. The staff were very apologetic and provided complimentary drinks at the bar while the third bed was set up. Other than that the room was lovely and quiet, with a view over the outside garden area. Location was super handy for the walk past many temples to Sannen-Zak’s path and Kiyomizu-Deru. Not too far from Pontocho Alley & Nishiki Market. Woul happily stay her again."

"The hotel is in a very good location, quiet, safe, walkable to many points of interest. The beds were a little hard for our likeness and the pillows too flat. We didn’t try the breakfast but it looked very basic. Lots of restaurants and shopping just at the door."

"In love with the property & will definitely return next time I’m in Kyoto!!!! Conveniently located in Gion District (15 minute walk) and super close to bus stop. Staff were soooo friendly and helped me with luggage forwarding. Rooms were clean, comfortable and had everything I could have needed. Also, If you’re into ceramics, visit the shop right next door!"

"I very much appreciated the Nespresso machine in the lobby and the laundry machines. The location was right at the subway station, you can’t get more convenient than that! But also the neighborhood was walkable with restaurants, convenience stores and a supermarket close by. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful."

"Our 1st room was great until we stepped on wet carpet that smelled like urine (huge area). Assuming pet (I hope). They wanted to dry it and have me star in that room! NO! Finally got another room. They give 3 coffees in room. After we finished I wanted more, I was told there was a charge. NOPE, I go get some elsewhere and ask for housekeeping to restock for next day. 2 ppl later get back to the room - no coffee refills or amenities- which they charge daily for. Took 3 ppl to get that finally....
