"Staff helped myself and I with all sorts of issues efficiently including advice on public transport etc. The hotel was beautiful in a traditional yet stately way. Very in keeping with the history and location of the place. Fantastic views over the bustling square from the room and the breakfast terrace although you couldn’t hear a sound with the windows closed. It was very hot when we went in August but the room was always beautifully cool and air conditioning fab. We really felt we were part of...
