"The location is absolutely beautiful. The staff are awesome. We did the half board and we didn't regret doing this one bit. The selections of the meals were incredible. Service is 5 stars. Place is clean. We plan to go back during fall season."

"The room was a bit dusty & only separated from the reception by a sliding door. We didn’t feel like there was a lot of privacy & could hear the receptionist (talking/ sweeping etc.) very clearly. There was ”casual” cleaning during the stay, and the one day we didn’t get asked and answer that we wished for them to clean, they didn’t which was annoying."

"Great place to relax and reflect. Very Japanese experience with wonderful garden and delicious breakfast. Plenty of pretty walks nearby. Good coffee shop on site and Laundry facilities. Kind and friendly staff."

"Great location in Arashiyama! Not so much amenities such as gym, restaurant and etc., but this is not what we needed here. Clean, comfortable, spacious room made the stay very convenient and nice. Would love to come back!"
