"This hotel on this island makes you feel as if you're a special guest. You first take off your shoes and they put them away as you wear the slippers they provide for you. The hotel room is structured in a way that resembles traditional Japanese house. The hotel provides dinner and breakfast, which they will accommodate if you have any allergies. The lobby feels very cozy and has small activities you and your family can enjoy."

"Room was spacious, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. It is located right on the main stretch of road facing the sea. The building, especially the public bath, is a bit old and outdated. But definitely would stay there again!"

"Staff was extremely happy, cheerful, and willing to help on anything. Made our visit extremely welcomed and relaxing. Room was extremely clean, tidy and organized. Could not have asked for a better room"

"The staff could barely speak English. When I arrived at 2 pm I couldn’t get my room and was not even offered to rest at the lounge. It was a rainy day and I had to kill time outside until 3 pm. Also I wasn’t told that the vanity essentials were located at the front desk and that caused inconvenience during the time I stayed at this hotel. I didn’t eat there and cannot comment on food quality but I appreciated the free and good quality coffee."

"We had a two twin room for three people (40s, 18, 12), so it was a bit tight. This was perhaps due to my misreading the room layout, or the room layout being a little thin on details. The hotel was nice and fresh, with quick and roomy elevators. The check-in procedure seemed odd - I was pressed (via email) to pre-register, but then when I arrived staff walked me through using a machine to check-in. Not awful, just strangely redundant. "This was a lovely property, all be it a little bit of a hike to get to from the ferry with luggage. We didn’t know when we would be arriving time wise so we couldn’t pre advise the hotel staff who have a shuttle service available. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. This was our second time staying in a ryokan so we had some idea of what to expect. We lovely the smell of the tatami mats and the feel of the, underfoot.
