This hotel was great. Really good breakfast buffet included. Clean, great staff. Room bigger than a lot of the hotels in Japan that we stayed in. We had no idea what to expect so it was a pleasant surprise how nice it was. We will seek out the Hearton Hotel chain when we visit other cities in Japan. Convenient location just steps from subway station that gives easy access to whole city.

Room was very nicely sized as well as the bathroom. Very clean and night facility. Hallways by the rooms would get loud at night by other guests. Staff was helpful and kind although I needed to deliver my luggage to my next hotel and two different staff members gave me conflicting information about the arrival date. Besides that a very nice safe hotel close to many restaurants and the metro.

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the Hearton Hotel. Location was ideal and easy to find, with close proximity to many street shopping and dining avenues. Professional, attentive service. A great stay

Big room size , everything is perfect, main single bed is good size. Every floor has a laundry room equipped with washing machine and dryer with ice and water dispenser which is huge bonus. Location is great and convenient. Definitely recommended to stay here while visiting Kyoto

Hotel is located very near to the train station, very easy to move around. All the staff here are very friendly and helpful, We have problem adjusting the air-cond temperature as it’s in Japanese. The staff is very helpful. He printed a translated instructions in English and went all the way up to our room to ensure we managed to get the setting right. The room we stayed was a bit small but comfortable with good amenities. Coin laundry available on every second floor. The only improvement we’d like to suggest is add another dryer as washer took 30mins and dryer needs 60mins. During peak hour, hotel guests need to wait very long before they can get the clothes dry.

Property was conveniently located near a train station, clean, comfortable for an overnight stay, and 7-eleven was just across the road. Easy walk to Nishiki Market. Staff was friendly enough. Breakfast was adequate with fair variety of foods to choose from. Would stay here again.

We loved Hearton Hotel Kyoto! On the first floor there are amenities you can bring to your room, we personally loved the bath salts and onion soup broth but there were plenty more items to choose from depending on your needs. Our room felt spacious compared to some other accomodations in Japan, though it is still a bit of a tight fit if you have lots of luggage (we didn't have much so we felt okay). The kettle and the mini fridge were great to have, and they worked very well. The room (including bathroom) was very clean and well maintained, and we found the bed comfortable. We had no issues sleeping at night, as it was very quiet. We were pleasantly surprised at how close one of the metro stations are to the hotel, though note this metro station is closed after a certain hour in the evening so you may need to walk a bit more if coming in late. That being said, we really loved our stay at the hotel and found it to be a perfect base to rest after our long days doing activities around Kyoto. We would definitely stay again!

Location is convenient as close to Subway station. Hotel is fairly new with spacious bathroom. Room is pretty good size in Japanese standard. Pillows are hard. Overall good stay. Will stay again.
