I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was exceptionally clean and quiet. The food from the restaurant was prepared well. The staff were pleasant and it was confidently located across the street from a train stop and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I loved it. I will definitely come back in the future.

We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they spoke English, which is especially convenient for travelers who haven’t learned much Japanese yet. The traditional Japanese-style breakfast was absolutely delicious and easily one of the highlights of our stay. The staff serving breakfast were wonderful as well and made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is also incredibly convenient—the train station is right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to get around and explore Kyoto. And lastly, the onsen was fantastic! It was clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Between the wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, convenient location, spotless rooms, and relaxing onsen, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Kyoto!

This place is amazing! Extremely clean and beautiful property. Very authentic and traditional experience. Not much English on signs and instructions, which made it a great experience. Onsen is wonderful, and very hot! Slippers and robes when you arrive. Definitely stay here if you’re in the area.

The hotel staff were amazing. They were super helpful and kind. The onsen facilities were very clean and well kept. The onsen was what we needed after long walks. It was very relaxing. They also offered massage services. They had free Ramen in the late evening which was greatly appreciated and free cold refreshments after going to the onsen. This was an excellent stay. I would visit again.

The best hotel we stayed in in Kyoto and Arashiyama is beautiful. The room was amazing with comfortable beds and a patio. Everything was cedar and very clean. And the baths were great.

Breakfast was great, Onsen was very sufficient and had private and public areas which I appreciate. Guests on our floor were loud and the walls are thin, but hey, some tourists are like that and it’s not really the hotel’s fault. Everything else was perfect.
