"First time at this particular Hilton Garden Inn and very satisfied. Had to get an earlier flight and ended up arriving hours before check in but staff happily let us check in after a long day travelling. Very comfortable and clean room, really quiet in the evening which makes a change from hearing other guests in the corridors normally. Food was excellent and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Was there on business and they offered transport to and from Airbus no matter what time of day...

"The only redeeming fact about this hotel is that it’s on the water and the view is beautiful but other than that, it’s not a good place and I would not recommend it. The room smells and everything is outdated and the whole layout and concept is so weird. I’ve never been at a hotel that was so awkwardly designed. It’s terrible. "The location of this hotel could not be beaten, perfectly located close to everything - restaurants, shopping cafes, sights and transport. The staff were amazing and our room was huge. They had a Nespresso machine which was very much appreciated, the bed and pillows were comfy, the room was quiet. The hotel itself is in a gorgeous historical building with a very interesting history. I would stay here again if I’m ever lucky enough to return to Aix -en-Provence. "
