"I stayed here for three nights.
The first two nights were great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, my last night raised serious safety concerns for my family. I had to wake up early the next morning for a six-hour drive to Manuel Antonio, but around 1:00 AM, the unit next to ours started playing extremely loud music. A visibly intoxicated couple was yelling and screaming with no regard for others.
I attempted to call the front desk multiple times, but there was no answer. After about 30 minutes, I open the door and yelled out if they can turn it down.. Unfortunately, another 30 minutes passed with no change. I tried calling the front desk again, as well as the emergency line, which shockingly went straight to voicemail.
Around 3:00 AM, I approached the unit again, and the situation escalated. The individual became aggressive and attempted to provoke a confrontation. This only made things worse, as the noise continued even louder afterward until 5A. At that point, I felt completely helpless not only unable to get any rest, but also genuinely concerned for the safety of my wife and children.
While the property itself has potential, the lack of responsive staff and proper security during a situation like this is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend considering other resorts, especially if safety and support during emergencies are important to you."
