"Excellent location for walking tours around the city and surrounding neighborhoods. The inside of the lobby and dining area lacked natural light and could use some of it to brighten things up. Overall great experience and would recommend this hotel for a Santiago trip."

"The check-in staff was extremely helpful with our hotel room and with advice about being in the city the hotel room was tidy and had clean sheets. It was a bit grungy. Location is excellent so if you don’t need perfect this is manageable."

"We loved the location and the friendly atmosphere of the Singular. The breakfast menu included plenty of delicious foods and fruit. The drinks offered at the rooftop bar were awesome. Our only complaint was that the hot water proved difficult to regulate in the shower. "

"the room was clean but the AC was set at 25 degrees and I could not change it. the AC remote control did not work. I had to have breakfast at 7am and they did not have hot milk or eggs, just bread, ham and cheese and sweet options until 8am but they do not say that on the information. room was basic, area at night does not feel safe."

"Early check-in for expensive fee. Decorative pillows had very old stuffy smell, dusty like. Sleeping pillows very flat, very cheap, no support. When i messaged about extra pillow options, was ignored, had to use the towels provided to help add support as decorative pillows had too strong an odor to use. Once you check in, your left on your own, theres no support or feedback. "

"The room had everything I needed, lots of space to put your clothing and bags. They even organised a take out breakfast for me as I had an early flight. Special thanks to the young lady who spoke really good English ( I would say with an American accent?) was very helpful with my questions."

"A mid-range hotel in a convenient central location. A maximum of 10 minutes' walk to the Plaza de Armas. There was always someone at reception who spoke English. We had a room with air conditioning on the sixth floor overlooking a side street closed to traffic. Our room was a comfortable size with good Wi-Fi. The shower was hot with a strong jet. Everything was clean. The breakfast buffet was extensive and of good quality. Unfortunately, the coffee was very weak. The staff were very friendly and...

"We are two women from the USA in our 60s who stayed here for ten days, and we loved it. The staff was wonderful: helpful, patient with our Spanish, and friendly yet professional (special thanks to Jose!). The building is beautiful, our rooms were quite comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast (you can order cappuccinos etc if you don’t like Nescafé). The location was great for walking and the subway (Uber is also easy here). We would love to return."
