"Memoir is a strange blend of residential property and hotel. Its association with the Common House adjoining is not very clear, although this is a great asset to the property (note that common house closes at 5pm on a Sunday, so if you’re staying on a Sunday night this is no use to you). "This property worked perfectly for our family. We were in town to celebrate my Uncle's 90th birthday and this allowed us to be "nearby" to him and to downtown and to all we needed for the long weekend. The hosts were excellent with communication and attention to questions. The house was wonderful. We missed a very few small things (a toaster and working can opener) but made do. "We stayed for a week. Great, safe area. We walked to French Quarter and Mardi Gras World. Close to Cable Car line. The Crepe Shop below is yummy! Washer and dryer was a plus. Walls are thin so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Would stay here again. "
