"It’s a charming one of a kind place for those who appreciate history and antiques. It’s also walking distance from trains, restaurants and minutes from the glass beach. You can hear the ocean one one side and steam engines from the other! Don’t forget to climb the tower, walk to Glass museum, and visit Piaci’s for awesome pizza and local hard cider!"

"It's a Super 8. No better than any other Super 8 I have stayed but, aesthetically but the "Virtual" staff has no capacity to actual help. Lack of physical staff , or the ability page staff at the lobby makes this below average for a Super 8"

"This inn is extremely out of date and does not match the photos which are clearly touched up/edited. Our king sized bedroom was not clean and we had to ask the staff to come clean because there was food and crumbs all over the floor. The walls are not insulated and there are large cracks at the door to let bugs in. The bathroom is outdated, the light fixtures were constantly flickering, and the floors were so dirty we had to wear socks the entire time. I’m not one to write poor reviews but this...

"My husband, dog, and I stayed at Mendocino Cove during their soft opening in June 2026. The property was so peaceful, pet-friendly, and extremely clean. It was a little zen oasis between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. It was so convenient to have to have pickleball courts to play at anytime, and the private beach was an absolute gem. "The bathroom had mold in it and the sheets and towels and pillows had stains all over them. The staff was great and she was very sweet and upgraded our room just the place was very dirty."
