"It hostel-style so there is a kitchen for cooking meals and shared bathroom/shower facilities. Just be aware that you can only use the kitchen 8 am-8:30 pm which is a little restrictive. It would be nice if there was a microwave and small sink in the meadow house for after-hours use. I would love to stay again, the scenery is incredibly beautiful."

"We enjoyed our stay here during the last week in July. The front desk staff was very courteous and friendly. We stayed in room 14 and it was very quiet. We had daily housekeeping service. The complimentary breakfast in the restaurant included eggs, bagels with cream cheese, blueberry muffins, boxed cereals, coffee, and juice. Waffles are available upon request. "Cavallo Point property was beautiful!! From the moment we arrived, the staff were overly accommodating. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, tasty snacks in the room for us with water! A gorgeous view of the Golden Gate Bridge from our room and a beautiful patio to enjoy it off of. Definitely planning to come back!!"

"Marin Lodge is a small, clean, very quiet hotel located 3 minutes away by car from downtown San Rafael. I especially liked the in-room microwave and mini-fridge. It is definitely not fancy, but overall a great boutique alternative to the larger brands that offer rooms at around the same price. "
