"My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of magical! "This is not what the pictures or the reviews say. The room was humid and the bedsheet was torn. We were two people, but there was a towel set for only one person. The pool was not heated. The sauna did not work (FYI - there was only one two-seat sauna for the entire hotel). The “cabins”, which in the pictures seem to be in the woods, are basically in the parking lot. The hotel does not partner with any local vendors for any water/hiking activities. 35 USD for the breakfast basket, which only has...

"Needs an upgrade and the staff were not friendly or helpful. They could careless if had any issues and said no manager was there to help me with a valid complaint. The beds were horrible too."

"We loved our stay! It is an easy couple minute drive from the Main St area, thus enabling the perfect combo of quick access to Main St but also having the quietness away from there. Super clean, spacious, and exactly what we were looking for. Just be sure to read the check-in instructions prior to your arrival at the property as we had to check-in at a different location -- which was easy, but just keep an eye out for that!"

"I really appreciated the attention to detail in the room, from the brass sconces and push button light switches to the black tile bathroom and the marble washstand. The bedding was comfortable and the room felt cozy and inviting, especially enjoyed sitting by the window looking out at the mountain. The staff checked in by text and everything went smoothly. I would stay here again."

"Property is gorgeous and convenient location. The place is very cute but our room was pretty dirty. Musty smell, cobwebs, dirty comforter with no top sheet as a barrier, etc. otherwise we enjoyed our stay."
