"Checking in was a breeze and the staff was really nice during check in. I got to room and was disgusted. It smelt like feet and the bathroom door would get stuck. Also the tub was slow to drain and left a ring after every shower. The furniture was old and obviously worn. I told the staff and nothing changed."

"Visited in June, so it was mostly quiet down around the hotel. Unfortunately our room 8th floor room was noisy with ongoing knocking and squeaking noise from the water system. Disappointed that they would assign this room —there’s no way they did not know this. Yes, we told the woman manager in the lobby. Walked everywhere. Only one Lyft ride to the must see WW11 museum. The room furnishings are dated, but very clean. Comfortable bed with nice linens. Nice cafes and coffee shops within a block. Riverfront, cooking school, Preservation Hall, and park around Cathedral were wonderful! Wear sneakers or comfortable walking sandals!"

"Booked 2 King Size Bed Rooms for 5 days. Both Rooms were not serviced-cleaned, replacement clean towels not provided. Called Front Desk only to be told that these services are not provided daily. Front Desk staff was concerned. Will not stay at this property again."

"Classy hotel! Love the small but quaint pool area-4ft shallow but great for short laps and lounging by the pool. A nice vantage point to see the Delta Queen Steamboat on the Mississippi River and hear the steamboat whistles blowing tunes! Great location to walk to Cafe Beignet for brunch and Royal House Oyster Bar for Dinner. Great gift shops to browse and pick up mementos while strolling down Royal street to the Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral. A little further find St. Mary's Assumption Church for tour and authentic N.O. History!! Great way to learn the "melting pot" of cultures and community which metamorphosed the city of New Orleans. Lunch at the Gumbo Shop for delicious seafood gumbo! Make sure to walk pirates alley, kindly greeted by a pirate and pick up some "booty" in the gift shop! Visit the Blue Dog art gallery-feels like a mini history museum. Walk through Jackson Square cross the street, up the steps to the levy for close view of the Mississippi River and watch the river boats float by. Need snacks, drinks or groceries (local Louisiana goodies)- go to Rouses on Royal Street. Want a fancy dinner out? Mister B's has the OG New Orleans style BBQ shrimp! Gift shops, art galleries and so much more to explore!!!"
