An excellent inn/accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. An old inn, much extend and beautifully decorated. Room are in the pub and 2 outside buildings. Only issue I would have is parking and access. . The site rises to the rear, both to the parking and the outside buildings. I use a walking stick and could just about manage the slopes and the stairs but severe walkers or wheel chair users would not. There is disabled parking (and electric charge points) availed. Great accommodation, handily placed for shops and beach, check in was easy and parking available. Recently refurbish so everything was modern, clean and functioning, I'd certain recommend and will be using the accommodation again when we visit St Annes

We had such a relaxing time. Just what was needed before heading back to work next week. The Aqua thermal journey was amazing- a whole two hours with no phone, no conversation just me and my thoughts. Bliss! The food was delicious and the staff were just lovely, so welcoming and friendly. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. We paid for this with our Tesco Clubcard voucher so our whole stay cost £79 for dinner bed and breakfast for 2 nights.

Everything about The Royal is quality. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable and the food is excellent, varied and very good value for money

What a find ! This hotel was one of the best we have stayed at . The welcome was warm and friendly , nothing was too much trouble . Our breakfast was delicious and we loved how different times were available. The hotel offered an earlier check in time than many others and check out is 12 o clock which means on a weekend away you can manage a lie in and a long leisurely breakfast which was just what we needed . Thank you so much , we would definitely recommend you and will come back again some...

Very friendly staff, nice big room (called falow), excellent breakfast, excellent evening meal staff very helpful sorting out a taxi for us, the room was warm due to heatwave so needed to keep windows open so we did notice some noise from the kitchen fans but this could not be helped. Very good car parking. Overall an excellent 2 day visit and would highly recommend.

Lovely little place. Very quite also. Wish the pub was open for drinks at any time but but not your typical pub. Food there was lovely though! Especially the sea bass. Walk in shower was amazing! Great if you need an accessible rooms

We received a warm welcome in the bar and were shown our room. The room was quite small but it was clean and well laid out and had everything we needed. Breakfast of cereal bar, instant porridge and a croissant is provided but we headed to the Wetherspoons or local cafe. The bar is very welcoming and has a nice atmosphere. We liked the central location for exploring Lancaster and not far from the University so we were able to easily visit our son. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic accommodation - would highly recommend - 5 star in every aspect

Renovated in the past couple of years the property was in good nick. Nice decking out front looking towards the sea to sit on. The room we had was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Nice roomy shower with decent water pressure. Breakfast was excellent value god money and very tasty. Only bit of criticism is lack of parking space if the hotel is busy.
