"They missed our cleaning and we had to remind them that no cleaning had been done the that they informed us that it would be. And when we asked for new towels since they missed the cleaning day they told us we could not get any new ones until they were able to schedule a new cleaning day, which in this case would be 48 hours before our check-out. We stayed at the hotel for a week. The reception told us that we could get new towels but that it would cost us 5 euro for each towel??? Even the small...

"A well located hotel close to the train station and within easy walking distance of the casino area and the port. Clean modern bar and reception areas and helpful staff. A nice pool area too."

"Excellent hotel in a high demand area. Was very impressed with the hotel’s standards, cleanliness, amenities and modernisation. The location is brilliant and is in short walking distance to most of Cannes hottest spots, as well as the train station. The staff were very helpful and friendly, at both reception and the cleaning staff. Not a bad word to say about our stay and would love to stay again on our next visit. "We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Excelsior!! The hotel was very close to the train station and the staff were especially welcoming and friendly!! The room was beautifully maintained and clean, and we even had a small balcony that allowed us to enjoy the warm air of the French Riviera!!"

"Could do with a deeper clean in the actual rooms, some mould and dust near the fan inbuilt and also the bathroom feeling and showers, room (at least the standard one) was quite small however very well decorated, and cleaners visited every day to reset room and towels ect. Staff were friendly and welcoming enough, there was 2 evenings with music but it stopped after 11:30pm so not too much bother. Perfect location to the old town and beach!"

"Beautiful property with an amazing staff! The rooms were a good size and it’s very clean!"

"The location of the hotel was great. Close to many good restaurants, shopping, train and beach. All of the staff were great especially the very helpful Esmeralda at the front desk. The hotel was quiet at night and while the pool is small, the surrounding seating areas are lovely. The breakfast is a bit underwhelming but everything else was very nice."
