Worth a Visit

Beautiful location and the Hotel was well run with friendly staff and in very good condition clean and large rooms. It was great value for money with a spacious Bar and Dining area with a well kept garden for sitting outside. Station close by and only a short trip to the beautiful Guilford

Thatcher’s Hotel

The hotel is in lovely grounds with easy access from the car park to reception. It is undergoing refurbishment and I think that will make it a very good hotel overall. The walk in shower was fitted to make it accessible, but the grouting is due for renewal. The lighting could be better in the room, plus a magnifying mirror would also be beneficial in the bathroom. It was quiet and the bed comfortable . I would recommend it for a short stay.

Both the Hotel and restaurant were very nice. The room was clean and beds were comfy but I personally didn’t like the pillows and the carpet was threadbare in places.. some of the furniture and bathroom fittings had seen better days so definitely not top marks. Restaurant and bar were great and the food was excellent. Parking was easy so that was a bonus.

Lovely, quiet hotel

Lovely hotel, very quiet, great room for our family of 4. Only negatives would be the limited breakfast choices, especially for the children with the set prices at £15, and we couldn't pick up the wifi connection in our room.

Property probably about 1910 to 1920. Very good condition. Looks and feels well maintained. Staff excellent. Very friendly. Food very good although Chicken Parmesan at dinner far too big a portion. Loved our stay. We will go back. John and Felicity Allen. We loved the hotel

We stayed for 1 night for a 2 day event i Leatherhead. Room comfortable and well laid out, excellent and modestly priced dinner with friendly and helpful staff. All round good value and a charming and welcoming place. Would certainly stay here again.
