"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "Friendly welcoming staff. Lovely views over golf course. Very good costing of room and breakfast included. Staff very helpful as requested earlier check in as had a wedding to attend at nearby venue. Supporting us with our request enabled us to stay at the wedding venue without the need to return for check in part way through the wedding celebrations. "

"absolutely lovely hotel! they staff were so kind and incredibly helpful. they rooms were nice and clean and the area itself is perfect for walking around to do some shopping. the train station is a 5-7 minute walk away which is also a plus. would happily stay here again!"
