Nice small town, people seemed quite friendly. The Reform Inn, Throncliffe is a nice restaurant, very friendly and helpful stuff serving local produce, would advise booking ahead as it gets quite busy.

Clean rooms and good location
"Easy check in experience, rooms and bathroom were clean. Very close to the terminals and a good quiet nights sleep. Parking was a surcharge of £25 a night. So bear this in mind if you’ve booked into Manchester airport parking as it might be cheaper to adjust the days in the airport parking."

Well furnished room with some minor issues
"The room was clean, well furnished and had a cozy feel. We would stay here again, however, there were some minor issues. The toilet flush ran continuously and was audible at night. The cover over the shower plughole was broken and the lead on the kettle was too short and had to be used on the floor. ..."
