"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Ideally located for our Alton Towers trip. Lots of nice restaurants in Leek too. Apartment was very comfortable, beds comfy too with crisp white linen and towels. Good instructions for entry. Some more information about bins etc would have been good. WiFi was a bit iffy at times but didn’t hugely impact on us. Connection instructions weren’t correct but we worked it out eventually. Would consider staying again when next visiting Alton Towers. "

"The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. "

"Everything was lovely great staff. Food was amazing. Spa was great fun. This was an early Christmas present to myself and hubby. Well it really made a change to do something like this. Had a great time "

"Fully equipped kitchen, when something wasn't right with the room they offered to fix it right away. Very good staff very happy. "

"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "

"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"A really lovely hotel and we couldn't fault the superior room we stayed in. Staff were friendly and keen to help, breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. Lovely bar area and off course Pecks restaurant now on site - which was the reason for our stay at the hotel (Dinner at Eight). The only slight disappointment was that the website indicated there would be a band on from 6-8pm on the night we stayed but we were told they haven't been booked for January. It didn't spoil our stay...

"Not easy to find,since no street-number supplied until asked for. Expected en-suite - bathroom shared (between 2 rooms) and quite a distance from the bedroom. Access arrangements (and supervision) sketchy - via key-safe on telephoning (never-seen) owner. However, the bed was very comfortable and the location quiet."

I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. "
