"What a really unusual place to stay. We loved staying here. The staff were friendly and really helpful, esp as the trams were not working so we got a great explanation of which buses would take us to various locations. I love the art deco period and this boat certainly did not disappoint. We will definitely be back! Its s hidden gem in Leith."

We were given tickets to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia which we enjoyed very much. "There were some bugs that flew in overnight, as we had the windows open and hotels in Scotland don’t tend to have screens.. But the staff was extremely friendly, and the location was excellent and offered early check-in. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We stayed for one night here for its convenient location. Staffs were nice. After checking in, we directed to walk down the stairs for an 0 floor (basement) room. The first thing we noticed was the floor had 4 rooms and many private rooms. The communal hallway needs maintainance, carpet was dirty. The room size was fine, relatively clean but two towels have visible brown dirts on them. The next morning, we were woken up by constant slamming doors at 06:30! This continues until 08:30! "I absolutely loved staying here and my 11 & 12 Yr olds were excited as well. My daughter literally didn't want to leave. The room was clean, smelled clean and lots of towels. Brilliant staff, very helpful and friendly. Free WiFi is definitely a bonus. And parking is reduced by half compared to parking on roads. We enjoyed having our breakfast at the hotel and I especially had three cups of plain lemon tea, which was Amazing. 100% recommended."

"Hotel was in a good position within walking distance to Prince St and many cafes and restaurants close by. Only downside is no lift, but staff carried my large suitcase to and from my room when I arrived and vacated. No air-conditioning, but you can open windows and they provide a fan in the room."
