"It is a nice intimate atmosphere. The host and hostess are extremely nice. Dinner is also available. My wife left earrings in the room when we checked out, and we were able to get it back from the hostess in we finish exploring the west side of Loire valley!"

"This was my second stay at 'Le Clos des Chateaux' in the magical little one bedroom 'Gite'. I love the beautiful and tranquil setting and the 'Gite' has been carefully and creatively restored, plus it has everything you need and is immaculately clean. My stay was just as memorable and enjoyable as my previous trip in 2023. Also it was lovely to see the charming and friendly owner Jean - Philippe "JP" again, who always makes you feel very welcome. "We enjoyed our overnight stay and had a good breakfast in the morning. The hosts were welcoming and helpful The location is good with enough evening options. The room was clean and perfect for our overnight stay. We weren’t aware that the only access to the rooms on the first floor is up and outside stone staircase - not ideal in the wet. The car park is small but manageable even with large vehicles. We’d happily return "

"Our hosts Carole and Ousmane were lovely. The property is homely and very comfortable. We were there for 2 nights and had dinner there on the first night as we were out for the second night. They made us lovely home made pizzas which were thoroughly enjoyed in the outdoors with a beautiful bottle of rose wine. Ousmane is the main cook and we tasted some of his home creations in the form of some chilli sauce and some conserves over breakfast. The location is fantastic if you are visiting Zoo...

"This is a great place to stay as a base to visit the castles in the Amboise area. The hotel has everything you need and there's plenty of free parking near it. Erika is a fantastic host and she gave us very useful tips. Overall, 100% recommended! "
