"The food was excellent; the pate and risotto were delicious. The staff were exceedingly helpful and efficient. Breakfast was Italian and consequently had interesting choices which were very fresh, filling and beautifully presented. The property has EV charging which was one of the reasons we chose it. "Absolutely appalling, the tiny room smells of damp and is essentially a health risk with mouldy ceilings and one very rusty oil heater. Dimly lit bathroom which again is another risk. We removed ourselves from the hotel (probably wrong choice of word) and booked ourselves into a hotel in the centre, Wetherspoons Hotel was fabulous. I raised with Hotels.com who had failed to help with my refund request. "

"Room was large, big bathtub. One corner of the room had moisture damage, and mold, perhaps from a roof leak or condensation. Pub was cosy. Food tasty. There is nothing else to do in Sandhutton. A critter scampering, and chewing in the attic above our room kept us awake most of the night. "
