"Beautiful property and staff. Everywhere in the hotel is so well looked after, decorated and furnished. Plenty of areas to just sit and enjoy a drink, the atmosphere and views of the garden. The staff were so friendly, caring and helpful and genuine - you never felt they were doing things just because it was their job to do so. It was a real pleasure to stay and I would highly recommend it"

"The hotel staff are excellent. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is comfortable, if a little dated. You need to let them know if an accessible shower is needed as many rooms have a bathtub shower. The food is available until late evening and the bus stop to town is across the road, while the return stop is just a house away."

"Staff friendly, efficient and easy to talk with. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Food options apart from breakfast and Sunday lunch were limited. Unfortunately the menu in the Terrace was not very good, we didn’t go into the Hugo or main dining room so we can’t judge the options there. The waiting staff had to wait on the Terrace and the dining rooms which on one evening just couldn’t cope. A nearby hotel had a fantastic restaurant and bar menu which shouldn’t be difficult to replicate at the...

"Staff were very friendly. Probably the friendliest staff in all of the hotels I've stayed in on Guernsey. Breakfast was very good, with a good selection. Evening meal was good and the correct selection of options for the amount of people eating in. There are a huge selection of restaurant's and pubs serving food nearby. Check out at 10-30am is a little too early. 11am at the earliest would have suited better."
