"Terrible stay. Dirty rooms, Breakfast is non-existent and all continental only. A lot of maintenance workers stay here, so you can imagine the standard. Depressing side of the road lodge. It is not a hotel really, more like a youth hostel!"

"A very dated hotel. Welcome at reception luke warm with a team that seem disinterested in providing a welcoming friendly greeting to arriving guests. Many windows broken, rooms in need of a deep clean and refresh. Small amounts of mould and poorly repaired sealant in bathrooms. Towels and bed linen clean. There is very much a vibe of “how little can we do to maintain the hotel, how cheaply can we do this repair, how little can we pay and invest in our employees”. And that approach shows....

Great food and drinks at reasonable prices and both our evening meals and breakfast very high quality. Staff very welcoming and friendly. "We’re disturbed all night by rude guests. Staff were not willing to come and check in on the noise and put an end to it. I was woken up at least 5 times before 3.30am. Management completely unhelpful and unwilling to resolve the situation. "

"Food was good and homemade. But rooms need much investment. Mattress you could feel the springs. Pillows lumpy. Kettle lid broken. Shelf in bathroom broken. Blind broken. Tv had electrical fault and kept coming on during the night. "
