Ok stay

Stayed for two nights recently. Despite the premises being non smoking there was a definite stale smoker smell to the room we were in. The bathroom could do with some updating as looks tired. There were hairs caught in the door and tiled wall, hairs around the toilet area and the grouting and silicone is fading and showing signs of mould. The facilities were good - new dish cloth/ tea towel to use and towels were in good condition. Ultimately I little overpriced for what you get. Mobile number to contact hotel prior to check in is wrong and landline is for hotels.com not the accommodation. Hotel answered email query re: check in quickly so check in wasn’t an issue once we arrived.

Hotel’s.com mentioned the wrong telephone # in the apps, so we can’t find the owner to correct the key! Inside the room are no table and chair.

Weekend stay

Very practical and straightforward accommodation. Two single and a double sofa bed. Clean and tidy with en suite shower room, small kitchenette area with kettle, microwave and hob. Very close to Orrell Park railway with access to the city. Myself and two adult sons went to the Liverpool match and only really used the room to sleep in. Overall, very comfortable and good value for money.

Lovely hotel and very convenient

This hotel was very good. The owners gave very good instructions for self check-in, and the room was spacious with a big kitchenette. My sister and I loved it. I was very impressed with the room, especially because of the low price

Will stay here again.

Great place to stay.the room/flat had everything you needed.there was tea/coffee/milk and suger there.nice and clean and warm.only tip i can give if you are less mobile like me ask for a ground floor room.

Unable to contact the host of guest house

Tried to contact the host, but in vain. After few hours, the host called back and promised he will not charge me and he will help to get refund for me from Hotels.com. Report the same to Hotels.com, still waiting for feedback and actual refund.

What a gorgeous find we highly recommend Orrell

We did not realize we needed a code to get into our room as there is no one on site but luckily a fellow traveller was in the lobby area and helped us. We were extremely happy with Orrell House - we had a room for 3 of us and requested the quietest room. What a gorgeous concept they have built. Very clean, very comfortable beds, very quiet, very elegantly done. Only thing I would advise like other reviews is put some hooks for towels somewhere even if it is not in the bathroom itself. The room contained a comfy sofa bed and a comfy double bed, a cute bathroom & kitchen that was stocked for tea & coffee & even a washing machine. Would love to stay again as we will be back in Liverpool frequently.

Very convenient and nicely appointed

Large room, very clean, well appointed with a washing machine and iron and nice kitchenette. Easy to find and the repairs to the boiler were done and only made us one hour late for the party.

A great spot to stay. First impressions were quickly overtaken by a great room, well equpped and clean. Be aware that there is no lift so you need to carry your bags. It is about an hour walk to Anfield but it is an easy walk
