"Fabulous stay at the Erskine Arms.. Rooms specious and clean.. lovely breakfast.. staff pleasant and helpful.. will definitely be back"

"A unique bed&breakfast... perfe location after a day's hike up in the mountains and dinner os 15 minutes away . The room was very nice and comfy. I also enjoyed the reading room upstairs. Breakfast next morning was really good and plentiful. My wife bought a pair of alpacca socks ( you need to stay there to understand fully, there are 3 of them in the back ) Claire is a fantastic host who took really good care of us"

"The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening."

"A home away from home. Second year we’ve been here and it is perfect! The views are to die for, Carrie and Mike are phenomenal hosts and the rooms are huge, clean and have everything you need."

"We had a great stay here. Probably the best hotel we've ever stayed in"

"Lovely hotel well positioned, but unfortunately the food from the menu let it down my husband had the chicken and pasta completely tasteless, wife had the slither of salmon she said it was okay, her sister and husband said the chips where cold sent them back redone and bought back out Breakfast was okay could have been hotter"

"Fantastic views of the river and the hotel is in a lovely location."

"Well situated. Carpets dirty. Cocktail lounge cold. Too techy & it didn't work. No parking. Breakfast expensive. Bathroom mouldy"

"Excellent, clean and welcoming stay again. Need to book the spa in advance to get the time you want"
