Upon entering the hotel I was greeted by name by the loveliest woman at the desk. She was friendly and helpful. After that, we experienced some issues. We ordered in-room dining one night and it arrived cold. It was expensive to pay for something that was not good. I also filled out my paperwork and paid a 50 pound deposit and by day 2 someone (not our original woman at check in) removed it from our file in the system. It was a big hassle and I waited at the front desk for 10 minutes with no one appearing to wait on me or other guests. At the same time another guest was having an issue with a lost item & received poor customer service. Those things combined make me rate the hotel average. I paid for the best suite in the hotel and definitely did not get that level of service. Housekeeping took one of our robes and when I called to have another delivered, they said they would bring it right up and never did. This hotel needs to focus more on details. As a loyal Hilton traveler, it's disheartening to experience this.
