The only thing was the loud noise the room doors make when closing (we were awake by other guests either arriving or leaving their rooms because of the doors closing too loud), and we can hear people talking in the next room (I’m sure they could hear us too). The sitting/drawing room(s) were lovley, grounds looked good. Great location for weekend break. Stair may be steep for some (goes with being authentic/historic),"
