"We really enjoyed our stay for just one night. We found the parking convenient and safe, although we did an extra circuit of the campus as the signposting in the last 150 metres wasn't clear. The breakfast was good, and the staff were professional, helpful and made us feel relaxed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Elite Athlete Hotel again. Many thanks, Keiron Chatterjea"

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "

"Hotel does have some parking but the majority of parking is either on street or at NCP near Tesco. Decent pubs in the immediate vicinity of the hotel restaurant which looked good"

"Great location for town centre. Good sized room and had everything you needed. Most of the staff friendly (especially the 2 ladies). Breakfast good value for money. Car park next door you have to pay for but it was reasonable."

"I booked a twin room but it was made up as a double so had to get this changed. Requested a walk in shower but got a shower room with glass walls! Staying with my 90 year old mother so was not happy with this. Hotel looked lovely from outside but inside decor was very bland and boring. Gardens had not been yended to and grass not cut. Having informed the hotel i was staying with my 90 yo mother and requested a downstairs room they put us at the far end of the hotel so we to walk a ling way....

"Lovely room and facilities but why charge for car park if you’re staying, appreciate it’s near the airport but there must be a way of controlling access without penalising guests who have already paid to stay."

"Excellent location, good rooms and pleasant staff. The only downside is the eye watering cost of a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, I declined that option."

"Problem for me was access to annex. Impossible to see the key pad to put in code. The position of lighting for the keypad was poor and key pad numbers far too small. Needs updating altogether. I did go back to reception and ask for a member of staff to come with me and open the door. They agreed it was difficult but were very helpful . "

"Check in was a joke . Rang bell 3 times before anyone came to reception. When they did arrive tried to charge me again when I had already paid. My message said breakfast ( continental was included) . Got up next day and female staff member said it wasn’t so we went elsewhere for breakfast. ON return I showed them message from hotel to say it stated breakfast was included. They did give us it the day we were leaving. They didn’t offer to reimburse for breakfast as their mistake I asked for two...

"Clean room, spacious, with a Marco Pierre white restaurant on-site. Bit pricey but we worth it. "
