"Room had a layer of dust and ac stopped working overnight. Breakfast was lackluster, beds were hard, rooms are outdated, and some room finishings like curtains have rips and damage. Not the worst place to stay, it was secure and didn’t have bugs or anything, but it is rundown and not worth the price"

"The hotel is quite dated and there is no elevator. Be aware of this as you need to carry your own luggage up a dimly lit stairway. The striped carpet on the stairs is hazardous and I missed a step on my way down and nearly fell."

"This post actually has nothing to do with the hotel. I was supposed to attend a concert in Shakopee on July 16, 2026. Due to Canadian wildfires creating hazardous air conditions. The concert was canceled, and I could not attend. Because of this act of God, there was no need for me to make the trip. Expedia was extremely uncooperative in this matter and would not refund money. I will never use Expedia again"

"Electrical outlets totally inadequate and too few for ordinary needs. Table and counter surfaces not thoroughly cleaned. Hair dryer did not work. Tissue box in bathroom nearly empty. Handrail in stairwell had a supporting bracket torn loose from wall. No grab bar in the shower. Inadequate number of choices offered for breakfast."

"Arrived late at night on very hot day. Front desk attendant asked us to go check our room before even completing the check-in process. She advised many of the room’s AC units did not work correctly.first room hot, second room hot with a (bullet?) hole in wall. Very run down place! Front desk attendant was pleasant and helpful. We did not get any hassle asking for a refund so we could book another hotel."

"The first room we went in had a very bad wet musty mold smell( seemed like it all got wet and no one took care of it for a week on a hot day with no air on ) talked to the front desk they help with a new room that was great ..food was ok for the price the hot tub looked dirty had bugs in it the pool was great.. last it did have a very strong pot smell when it said no smoking of any kind. I give it a 3"
